Patient Access is available to ALL our registered patients. Once registered, you can book your appointment(s) online via the link at the top of this page.
Appointments may also be made by telephone, or by calling into the Practice and speaking to a receptionist. If you are unable to keep an appointment please let us know as it can be offered to another patient. We do try to run to time, but please be patient if you have to wait - some problems need more than the allotted time. If you feel you need a double appointment please tell the receptionist at the time of booking.
There are always pre-bookable routine appointments and telephone consultations available, and a limited number of 'on the day' appointments available daily.
Urgent Medical Problems
If you need to be seen urgently and there are no appointments available, please speak to a receptionist who will arrange for you to be seen or spoken to as appropriate. However, without an appointment this may mean you have to wait longer to see a doctor.
There is no "drop in" surgery and walking into the Practice will not guarantee you an appointment.
This practice is committed to providing a safe, comfortable environment where patients and staff can be confident that best practice is being followed at all times. The safety of everyone is of paramount importance. The patient will be offered a chaperone for intimate examinations or if the doctor/nurse or patient at anytime feels more comfortable with one present.
Cancelling an Appointment
If for any reason you are unable to keep your appointment or no longer need it, please let us know as soon as possible so that it can be reallocated. Please remember that there is always a shortage of appointments and when you fail to attend you have prevented someone else from being seen in your place.
These are available if you think that the doctor may be able to help with a problem over the telephone. They can be booked in advance and in the same way as a surgery appointment by telephoning the Practice.
